I’ve always been of the mindset that a meal is not complete without something sweet at the end. When I say something sweet, I really just mean the one and only… chocolate. Chocolate is my love language so naturally when I met Lindsey, the Chocolatier behind Rose Noir, it was an instant connection. Growing up in Southern California, Lindsey has been exposed to a wide variety of ingredients from around the world. At Rose Noir, she uses these ingredients as inspiration for creating bonbon flavors. Before creating her own company, she worked at the SLS hotel as a pastry chef and ventured off at the start of Covid-19 to follow her chocolate dreams. Lindsey is just starting out, similarly to Nico’s. Finding other women working to build companies based on passion is so empowering. Not every day at Nico’s is fun, it’s been a lot of blood, sweat and tears, but finding people like Lindsey and getting to support her makes it worth it. Women supporting women!!
